The Spirit (movie) is coming!
It is my intention to use this blog to talk about the movies that are coming out in the near future (or should I say ‘coming soon’?) that I think I will want to see based on what I have heard about them or seen in trailers so far.
One movie I will start with is the upcoming the Spirit movie, directed by Frank Miller. It is supposed to come out on December 25th. Interesting choice of release dates, huh? This film looks very similar to Sin City and I liked Sin City - so did a lot of other people so this one might do pretty well.
Even though it might have that going for it, it might have a problem getting long time Spirit fans to accept it based on reaction by some of them to the first Spirit movie trailer. There are many factors involved in why I say this. It’s true, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn sometimes. If it’s not one thing it’s another. Spirit movie trailer has me in a bit of a bind. You can have your cake and eat it too. This alone makes me want to check out the new Spirit movie. The same thing happened to me last year. That’s like trying to put a square peg in a round hole.
